Very first original Polydor POCP release of 12 Who mini-LP CD with Target on the reverse side of the obi came with pages of the so-called A-Z songbook. The mini-LPs that included these began with A Quick One and ended with It's Hard (including Odds and Sods and The Kids are Alright). The subsequent edition of the 12 CDs omitted the Target and coupon and most of the writing from the back of the Obi. There were no songbook pages in these.
The rear of the obi contains details of a promotional offer and a coupon. Customers who bought all twelve titles could send in the coupons to receive a special binder for The Who Song Index A-Z and a t-shirt. Customers who bought five or more titles could send in for a T-shirt. The promotion ran from September 29, 1999 to December 31, 1999.
Tracks 11 to 20 are extra tracks.

Album
A Quick One is the second studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 9 December 1966. The album was also released under the title Happy Jack on Decca Records in April 1967 in the United States, with a slightly altered track listing, where the song Happy Jack was a top 40 hit. Unlike other albums by the Who, where guitarist Pete Townshend was the primary or sole songwriter, A Quick One features significant songwriting contributions from all band members, with singer Roger Daltrey. The Who's second album is a less impressive outing than their debut, primarily because, at the urging of their managers, all four members penned original material though Pete Townshend wrote more than anyone else. The pure adrenaline of My Generation also subsided somewhat as the band began to grapple with more complex melodic and lyrical themes, especially on the erratic mini-opera A Quick One While He's Away. Still, there's some great madness on Keith Moon's instrumental Cobwebs and Strange, and Townshend delivered some solid mod pop with R. To favorites 3 Download album. A Quick One, the Who's second album, is built around the rather flawed premise that all four members of the band should contribute to the songwriting process. John Entwistle rose to the challenge with Whiskey Man and Boris the Spider. The latter became his signature song he wore a spider necklace for decades
