They certainly did that with The Curse of Love, but thanks to fears that the record company wouldn't know what to do with it, plus the fact that guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones missed half the sessions, they decided to shelve the album and move ahead in a more traditional fashion. To that end, the next album they released, 2007's Roots & Echoes, was a much brighter, more Coral-sounding album. Album 2014 12 Songs. The Corals James Skelly was mindful not to raise expectations when news broke of The Curse of Love's unearthing two years into the bands hiatus. He needn't have worried. Surely a repress for those of us that missed it could be feasible ? An email to Skeleton Key went unanswered...
wow, i'm also happy i picked this up when it was released. 900 copies only?
Only 900 copies on vinyl? Wow, I'm glad I picked this one up at release.
A magical album... love this on vinyl. Nicely pressed too.
My copy of the Vinyl has the same kind of defect on both sides in exactly the same 'Geographical' spot!, probably a fingernail scratch caused by mishandling in the factory,

A real shame cause the vinyl does sound better than the CD that comes with it.
Steamy Ibis
it is, as usual with The Coral, Beautifull, very calm and atmospheric album, that may be explains that it wasn't
released until now.
